Slough Creek

Once you and your mate have moved to Slough Creek, a New Life will begin for you two!

Here in Slough Creek, your first quest will be to Mark Territory! You can do that by howling and urinating on the floor. To Howl, press H key on your KeyBoard; To urinate, press P key on your KeyBoard.

To complete this quest, you and your Mate have to claim at least 15 hexes of territory above 50% of strength. You can see your territory on the World Map (M key on your KeyBoard).

After claiming at least 15 hexes, you'll have to find a Den Site for your pups to be born, when you're near a Den, you can see it below the compass, if you use Scent View Mode (V key on your KeyBoard), probably you will see the Den Scent. When the Den Symbol is getting darker, you're getting closer to it, if it's getting lighter, you're going far from it.

Once you've found four Dens, you can choose the one that you likes more to be your first Den! If you need help findings Dens, i'll show you a Map with all Dens discovered! There are different types of Den Sites, these are the types:

Rock = Rock formation dens

Tree = Tree dens

Dirt = Burrow or hole in the ground dens

Stars = Classic 2.7 dens that were remade in the new game. They have been marked with the names they had in the old game.

When you find the best den for you and your pups, feel free to choose it!

And Now, it's time to choose your Age Perks!

The Age Perks are separeted in three categories:

Physical Attribute, Clout and Wisdom

Physical Attribute

More rival wolves are eligible for courtship.

Fun Parent:

Pack affinity rises faster when you are at the den.

Each type of den (burrow, rock, tree) has its own icon in scent view.

Knowing Nose:

Floating scents reveal distance to herd or animal.

Carcass scents reveal distance and how much food remains.

Health Perception:

Reveal health of an animal by locking onto them for several seconds, without biting.

Note: Not all Age Perks are available in all ages, example: In Age 3, you Can select 3 perks
between: Strength, Health, Speed, Stamina, Youthful Prowess and Fun Parent. But in Age 5, you
can select 3 perks between: Strength, Health, Stamina, Territorial Might,
Youthful Prowess and Good Memory.

After choosing your 3 perks, it's finally time to see your pups!

Name each of them as you feel they most looks like!

Now, you will need to feed them, play with them and the most important,

keep them alive no matter what.

To feed (regurgitate) your pups press BackSpace key on your KeyBoard, to play with them, keep pressing E key on your Keyboard and select Playbowl or Roll.

It's important for you to go hunt, then you'll be able to feed your pups if they're hungry. If you're hungry, you cannot feed your pups, you need to eat before doing that, so always try to keep your wolf fed.

Hunting

Before you and your mate go out to hunt, send your pups into the den. To send them to the Den, keep pressing E key on your KeyBoard and select Woof.

When you return to the den, call your pups to come out of it. To call them, keep pressing E key on your KeyBoard and select Squeak.

Always be interacting with your pups to increase pack affinity.
If you are hunting and the affinity is low, any time your pups will come out of the den to explore, they can easily get lost and this can attract hungry predators such as: Bears, Cougars and Eagles, or competitors wanting to kill your pups, such as: Coyotes and Wolves from rival packs.

Reaching 15 pounds

Once all of your pups reach 15 ibs, you will now have to move from your Den to a Rendezvous Site! So, i recommend choosing a Rendezvous Site which is in a open area and close to elk herds and other preys, by that, your hunt will be easy and not so far from your new home.

When you go hunt with your mate, Woof to your pups so they will hide in the Rendezvous Site.
When you come back, Squeak so they will come out of it.

Reaching 20 pounds and Endless Summer

Congratulations! Your pups now have reached 20 ibs :D

Once you've completed the quest Endless Summer, you can stay with your pups or restart your wolf's story and have a new littler of pups!

When the third episode of WolfQuest get released, which will be the Tower Fall Map, you and your mate will  now continue the raising of your pups. They will grow and starts to join you and your mate to the hunt! You'll be able to make a huge pack with your pups!
